100+ Public Hunting Grounds in the State of Wisconsin

As promised this issue I will show the public hunting grounds in Wisconsin of nine hundred acres or more. I went through several sets of maps the DNR has available maps of each county and the public fish and wildlife areas. The maps are basic Department of Transportation Plat maps so they show no terrain or acreage, only roads, water, towns and section lines. The rest of the information I got from calling the DNR or from other maps. As I said last issue, please check before you just let the bullets fly, that the area is legal. Last issue I had no complaints but....Next issue we will look at Iowa public hunting grounds, when I get done with all the states I will make them available in book form. One last note, the guys I hunt grouse with in Sawyer County want you to know there are no grouse or bucks in Sawyer county, so it's not worth the trip.
