I am looking for comments on ATS-Sonic beeper collars.
I am considering purchasing an ATS beeper and would
like to hear your comments, good or bad, on the
quality of the product. I would also welcome your
comments on which model you like best and why.
I will be using the beeper exclusivly for grouse/
woodcock hunting.
I have already gone through 6 beeper collars, yes 6!!
3 tritronics accessory beepers, and 3 Innotek beepers.
Grouse hunting is very hard on a beeper when your dog
is crashing through the forest at shorthair speed.
All the beepers I have used with the top mount speaker
have had problems with the connections breaking.
I have come to the realization that I need two beepers,
one for the fields (pheasant hunting) and one for
the grouse woods.
I like the idea that ATS-Sonic beepers come in a self
contained unit, and seem resistant to damage.
Please let me know what you think. I dont need to
waste anymore money.
